How much does it cost?
For accurate pricing, please contact our customer service representative. They will inquire about your specific propane needs, such as residential or business delivery, tank requirements, or portable tank refills, and provide you with current pricing information based on your situation. What size propane tank will I need?
The appropriate tank size is determined by factors such as the number and type of propane appliances you use, the size of your home, and your usage patterns. Our team will assist you in selecting the most suitable tank size for your specific needs and location.Who owns the tank – me or the propane company?
In most cases the propane provider retains ownership of the tank and is responsible for its upkeep, inspection, and compliance with regulations. However, we will provide clarification on ownership details during the sign-up process for your particular location. How do I know when my propane tank is getting low?
Most propane tanks are equipped with a fuel gauge for monitoring levels. We can also provide equipment for usage tracking and offer automatic refill services to eliminate the need for close monitoring. It's advisable to maintain your tank at least 20-30% full to prevent issues during cold weather. What is the delivery schedule and how does "automatic delivery" work?
We offer an automatic delivery service based on your usage history, tank capacity, and local weather patterns. Alternatively, you may opt to call us when you require a refill. What happens if I run out of propane?
If you exhaust your propane supply, please contact us immediately. We can dispatch a truck for refilling, but a weekday appointment when you're home is necessary as we are legally required to perform a gas system check after a run-out. Be aware that depleting your gas supply may introduce air into the system or disrupt appliance function, which is particularly critical during winter months in this region. What safety or regulatory standards apply here in Texas?
In Texas, the Railroad Commission oversees the storage, transportation, and usage of LP-gas (propane). This includes regulations on tank installation distances, equipment standards, and licensing requirements for certain propane activities. Our team will ensure that your installation complies with all applicable state and local regulations. How is pricing determined and what payment options do I have?
Our pricing structure typically incorporates current market propane rates along with any applicable service or regulatory compliance fees. We will provide a detailed explanation of your rate, including any available budget or fixed-price plans. We accept various payment methods including checks, online transactions, and card payments, tailored to suit your area.Which appliances can run on propane and is it suitable for this region?
Propane is well-suited for Texas homes and can power a wide range of appliances. These include heating systems (crucial for the region's winters), water heaters, cooking appliances, clothes dryers, fireplaces, furnaces, space heaters, pool heaters, and even standby generators. We will assess your specific appliance configuration and requirements for your home.
